Woodlands Waterway Square is a town-center about 27 miles north of Downtown Houston. There are many fun things to see and do here in Spring, Texas. And FYI, you are about 100 feet higher above sea level than Downtown Houston. You are off the flat coastal plain with lots of tall pines and some real hills !
According to thewoodlandstx.com:
“The Woodlands Waterway and Waterway Square add a distinctive feature to the downtown area offering both functional and entertainment value to this bustling location. The Waterway connects The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, The Woodlands Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, Waterway Square and The Woodlands Mall. The office buildings located at Waterway Square serve as the home for many of The Woodlands major employers, including Anadarko Petroleum, Woodforest National Bank, U.S. Oncology and American Financial and Automotive Services.”
Along the Waterway area is where the The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival takes place each spring. One of the best in the country, it’s the yearly “Artist Friendly Festival” presented by the The Woodlands Waterway Arts Council.
